Dear strong and courageous one,
Welp, the energy never lies.
For the past few months, there has been some intense light coming in. I know you have heard this before, but it continues to occur in our massive collective awakening as humans!
What happens when light shines in brightly in an area? It illuminates the shadows.
This continues to be the case in our lives. The light is bringing the darkness to the forefront. We are being presented with old thoughts, patterns and stories again and again. It’s almost something like this technique in hypnotherapy called desensitization (which is not one I practice or recommend) in which a traumatic scene is relived over and over until it loses its power.
At any rate, when we find ourselves confronted with the protective/negative Ego yet again (along with the feelings of heaviness and frustration that go along with it) there are things we can do to help keep it at bay. These include:
I have done all of these things recently as well, and today on 8/7/24, as I write this, the day before the Lion’s Gate 8/8 portal officially opens, I feel the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.
If you’ve been slogging it out, take heart in that the energies should be shifting now.
Today is 8/8/24. (There’s a lot of magic in the number this year – as the numbers 2+0+2+4 add up to 8.) On this day of the Lion’s Gate, you may want to take some time to write down what you are grateful for, a vision of how it would feel to be your highest, future self, and what qualities/things you’d like to change or invite into your life.
You may enjoy the Lion’s Gate meditation below to help bring this into reality.
And if you’re really struggling, sometimes getting help from another human can make a huge difference. I am here to be of service if you are struggling in a guidance session.
In the midst of this all, don’t forget to enjoy your life. Bask in the beauty of summer! Channel your inner child and frolic in the waves (I did that today, and it was awesome)! Let’s learn from what kids do and try not to take life so seriously. It’s sometimes about finding pure and simple joy!
With blessings to you dear friend,
