Each Moment Is An Opportunity … for a New Way of Being

These times are certainly a lot, aren’t they? I have noticed that many people are going through pretty hard times… breaking patterns that have been longstanding.

This is the lifetime when we do break the patterns, or try to! I’m not exempt from this either.

We are all doing our best.

I recently had a hypnotherapy session (I received) and saw my future self, wiser and calmer. It was the first time I really felt her energy so closely, and then merged with her body to become one.

My future self was so present in every moment of her life, so grateful for the beauty of nature, and had a healthy balance of caring for herself while helping others.

It’s been a lifetime of work for me to cultivate this reality, and of course I’m still working on it.

We have opportunities in each small, seemingly insignificant moment to make new choices and to stop engaging in old, unhealthy ways of being from childhood (and past lives). These mundane, everyday situations allow us to decide if we want to do something differently than usual.

This is how change occurs, how new habits are created… in small little ways.

We choose between scenarios like: “Will I get frustrated and stressed because I’m running late, or just take a deep breath and trust that there’s nothing I can do but surrender to the situation?”

or

“Will I beat myself up because of a past choice I made and stay mired in regret, or will I accept the reality of what is in the present, and learn from the past?”

We can ask ourselves in these moments… what’s the most loving thing I can do/say here? And our higher selves will often speak to us.

This is about recognizing the voice of the Ego self – the part of us that doubts, that judges (we are often so hard on ourselves!), that stays stuck in the past or worries about the future and that over-analyzes and wants to control things.

While so many of us want to connect to our intuition and hear from our higher guides, it’s difficult to really do that if our Ego voice is so loud. The Ego is often fueled by all the chaos, division and noise in the external (the media does a great job of that).

To really keep the Ego voice at bay, we’ll need to train our minds to notice what the Ego is saying to us  – when it shows up, what it wants for us, what it values, and maybe even where it comes from. Then, we can begin the process of separating from it.

The best way I know of to do this (to create new neural pathways in the brain!) is through meditation – just quieting the mind for a few minutes every day to start!

And yet when trying to tap into our intuition, we can feel like it’s just not there. It can seem like our guides have abandoned us.

But they haven’t. They’re always there. It’s often that we chose (pre-incarnation) to work on lessons on our own, only with hints along the way!

We need to ask for their help. We often forget this part.

If you had a guest come to your home, you wouldn’t just stand there and wait inside the front door for them. You’d open the door and invite them in!

This is the same for our guides/angels/God. We have free will, which they respect. So we might want to try simply just asking (silently or out loud) for what we need! It’s so simple but often overlooked.

This is the lifetime when it’s hard. But we signed up for this… and we have the tools to make it through.

We are ascending into higher states of consciousness, into the 5D reality that the Earth is moving into. It’s a whole new way of being. In fact it’s just that – a way of being rather than doing!

I am walking right there with you on this path. And I’ve been blessed to support some incredible people in hypnotherapy sessions (with the Akashic Records as powerful guidance as well).

With appreciation to you all and blessings in this time…
