Is It Possible To Really Help People?

Dear beautiful soul here to be of service,

When I meet with clients, I often end up talking with them for a while to learn more about what they are experiencing. And sometimes, they come in for a session feeling quite “off.” Maybe something just happened that triggered them, and they are feeling a lot of emotion.

We spend some time processing what happened and how it feels to them.

We discuss that, as humans, we are presented with situations (often in relationships with other people) to learn and grow from.

With this in mind, I listen to what the client is sharing to uncover what might be going on beneath the surface.

Eventually, after they have cleared the emotion (I share about how to do this in the video above), they usually end up discovering that there was an unconscious belief that activated their triggered reaction.

Sometimes it was a belief that they still felt was actually true, even though they could see that it was not helpful.

And then what do we do?

We talk through the belief and what it means to them, where it came from (often from childhood), and how it might be holding them back from what they seek in their lives.

Some beliefs that are common for us all are ones like: “I need to work all the time to be enough,” or “It’s selfish to take time for yourself,” or deeper ones like “It’s safer not to let people get too close so they won’t hurt me.

As you can see, these sorts of beliefs are not ones that many of us go around thinking consciously.

But these beliefs often drive our thoughts and behaviors.

It is difficult not only to uncover what the actual belief is, but even more challenging to separate from the belief!

We can talk (using our conscious minds) about the belief until the cows come home.

However, that “unhelpful” belief is probably not going to be removed unless we access it at its root.

The root of almost all of our deep-seated beliefs lives in the subconscious mind. And one of the only ways to access the subconscious mind is to bypass the conscious mind through modalities like hypnotherapy.

In guidance sessions, I have seen clients clear away beliefs and replace them with better ones through hypnotherapy.

Maybe you are curious about how this works. Of course, you are welcome to come check out a hypnotherapy session for yourself.

But maybe you want to take this further. If you’re intrigued by how deep change actually occurs in people’s lives, you may want to explore offering hypnotherapy yourself.

You don’t have to have an existing business in the healing profession (although if you do, offering hypnotherapy could be a wonderful supplement to your work) to be able to learn this. In fact, once you learn hypnotherapy you can offer it to just about anyone, anywhere!

Either way, I am a true believer that accessing the subconscious mind for healing is one of the best, if not only, ways for people to get better.

I am offering a Hypnotherapy Certification program that starts this September 9th. There’s just 12 spots available and a few have already been filled.

For the past few years, I have taught a group of students how to become intuitive guides, which is a similar program to the hypnotherapy certification.

In that program, I have actually taught them some guided imagery and basic hypnotherapy skills (sshh…. don’t tell anyone!). In this year’s class, one student has started doing guided meditations with friends as part of her practice sessions. She even did an inner child healing session recently. I was able to listen to a recording of one meditation she led, and her voice guided me so deep that my spirit guide showed up!

Though she had expressed doubt in her abilities to guide people in this way, her practice clients are now reaching out to ask if she could help other friends of theirs. Witnessing her growth in this way, to the point where she now has a website and is posting helpful tips on social media, brings such joy to my heart.

This can be you! If you’re feeling a pull to learn more, please reach out and we can explore what offering hypnotherapy is like (hint: it starts out by learning how the mind works and then some tools!)

In the meantime, I am, as always, wishing you many blessings in your life,

Rachel
